Reaching Hearts with Hope and a Hot Meal

Father’s Heart Centre began hosting Christmas Dinners for the homeless in 2014, and in January 2016 commenced the monthly Community Breakfast, the last Sunday of each month from 9.30 – 11.15am. From observing, engaging and completing surveys with our members, we have noted that the majority are rough sleepers, homeless and or struggling to manage alcohol/substance misuse, poverty, poor mental health and offending behavior.

Our Vision

We envisage a community in which every homeless or vulnerable person is supported and guided to achieve and improve positive life outcomes.

Our Mission

To facilitate access to good, healthy food for our homeless and vulnerable community members increase their access to accommodation and for their basic life needs to be met.

Our Values

We believe that access to nutritious food and access to accommodation is a basic human right. We are committed to responding to the needs of our community members through a drop-in centre and with our support services.

Our Aim

Our aim is to help community members with complex needs start to turn their lives around, grow as people and achieve their potential. This is in-line with the Father's Heart Vision Statement. 'Seeking God, Changing Lives.'

Clothing Hub

Our Community Clothing Hub's mission is to provide clothing and toiletry items to those that come to us for help.

Advice

We provide assistance in completing forms, advice about benefits and housing, or if you just need someone to talk to we are here to listen and help.
